Rolling Stones cover of John Lennon and Yoko Ono was named the top magazine cover to appear since 1965. The image was photographed by renowned celebrity portraitist Annie Leibovitz mere hours before Lennon was shot on December 8, 1980. The photo was eventually used on the cover of Rolling Stones tribute issue to Lennon on January 22, 1981. 

I think this is my favorite photo because it just shows them being happy together. The lighting around them is perfect it shows their true emotions. The lights are dimmed down and he is naked which means that they are comfortable around each other. This picture is beautiful and i like that they made this the cover after his death.

Self Portrait and Portraits Part II

1. Think about your motivation and emotions: Blankly staring at the camera rarely gets good results. Be silly, don’t be afraid to over-act. The worst that can happen is that you fill up your memory card with useless photos; but you might also find yourself with a proper gold-nugget of a self portrait.
2. Use a mirror! It seems so obvious, but how to use mirrors is important, too – take it down from the wall, and experiment!
3.Have fun with it. Be sexy. Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different. Be creative. Whatever you do, have fun with it. That’s part of the point, after all.

I want to take a picture of myself using a tripod. I want to be centered in the middle of the photograph when the picture is taken. I think I want to be on the stage in the theater, Posing in different positions. I want to take a lot of pictures at once and see which one comes out the best.
